Handcrafted since 1970
Charu Dhoop Sticks
Pure resin and floral extracts, rolled the old way. Sixty minutes of slow, unbroken, charcoal-free smoke — the kind Indian ritual has always known.
Why choose Charu
Real smoke, the way ritual intended it.
Most dhoop you find is loaded with charcoal, synthetic binders, and artificial perfume — it burns fast, smells harsh, and leaves a thick, acrid haze. Charu's dhoop is made the way it was in 1970: pure resins like Loban and Guggal, natural floral extracts, and no shortcuts. Every stick gives a full sixty minutes of clean, deep fragrance.

What the smoke does
Six reasons it earns a place in your home.
Deep spiritual cleansing
Loban and Guggal are among the most powerful purifying resins in Indian homes — earthy smoke believed to clear negative energy and ready a space for prayer.
A 60-minute unbroken burn
Each stick holds its fragrance for a full hour — made for extended pooja, morning ritual, or meditation where the scent shouldn't fade halfway through.
Sacred fragrance for pooja
Kasturi's warm musk and Chandan's cool sandalwood stay true — the real puja-room scents of centuries, not a chemical approximation.
Thick smoke for deep ritual
Unlike thin agarbatti, dhoop throws a fuller, richer column of smoke — the immersive, sacred atmosphere traditional rituals are built around.
Mood & space transformation
Rose and Lavender bring a softer, emotional note — calming anxiety, lifting mood, turning an ordinary room into a sanctuary within minutes.
Mogra for festive settings
Mogra's sweet, heady floral has always belonged to temples, weddings, and celebration. It fills a room and lingers far longer than any spray.
Step by step
How to use Charu dhoop sticks.
Stand the stick upright in a dhoop stand or a sand-filled brass bowl — the thick base needs a stable, heat-resistant holder. Browse our incense stands for brass and ceramic options.
Hold a flame to the tip for 10–15 seconds, until it catches and glows.
Gently blow out the flame. The tip should glow orange and release a steady column of fragrant smoke.
Set it in your pooja room, meditation corner, or living space — away from curtains and anything flammable.
Let it burn the full 60 minutes. Don't rush it or wave the smoke away — the resin needs time to fully release.
Extinguish completely after use, and let the stub cool before disposal.
Pro tip — For vastu cleansing, start at the main door and move clockwise, letting the Loban or Guggal smoke reach every corner. Going deeper? Read Loban Dhoop Sticks: 7 Benefits You Should Know.
